We are excited to welcome new distributors George and Elizabeth Barns to the Georgia territory previously managed by retiring distributor, Marion Cobb! We had a chance to learn a bit more about this team in a short interview:
Q) What made you decide to become a Shoo-Fly distributor? A) This will be our first time being a distributor. We had a very rare opportunity to step in when a current distributor, Marion Cobb, was retiring. This gave George a whole year of training and working with existing clients. We’re excited to make sure everyone in North Georgia and surrounding areas still gets great service from a Shoo-Fly distributor.
Q) What do you look forward to most about working for Shoo-Fly and the Shoo-Fly products? A) We’re looking forward to working for Shoo-Fly for many reasons. Their products are proven to be safe and effective for all sizes of farms. We have ridden or worked in barns that use Shoo-Fly products for 15+ years and have seen firsthand how well they work. We’ll be proud to represent them in our area.
Q) Can you share a little more about yourself? A) While George grew up on a farm in South Georgia, Elizabeth grew up riding and showing (Hunter/Jumper) in North Georgia. After meeting each other at Georgia Southern University, we were married in 2015 and settled in Canton, Ga. Throughout the years we have worked in many barns and currently own our own boarding farm for rehab and retired horses.
